I guess you're wondering why I chose candles. I love candles, and when I say love I mean obsessed with candles. I love to have a candle for specific moods or different scents for different vibes. The one thing I didn't like was the price and the quality of some of the candles I used to buy. I hated when I'd get home so excited to set the vibe and go to light my candle and after a while I forget it's even lit. Why? Because it doesn't smell like anything!

I decided to take matters into my own hands and practiced making my own candles. Coming up with different vibes that people might want to put themselves in. I started off with a few of my own and even asked my friends to tell me vibes and created scents from them to match. My goal was to create the perfect vibe for everyone who is as enthusiastic about candles as me. 

I even took it as far as making wickless candles (idea from Messiah), that way people who love candles, but without the flame, can enjoy the scent and create that same vibe. Whether that's in their dorms, in their offices, or just because you don't prefer flames. 

Now the name? Well in college I had this saying Good Vibes Only. Having a pessimistic mindset was getting me no where in life. I gave myself this motto to remind myself that you can't control the uncontrollable; however, you can control your mindset. I set to have a positive mindset at all times. Adding "by Ty" was the cherry on top. Since I strive to constantly have good vibes it was only right it's by me :)
